DO BOTH AT ONCE AND STOP PAYING TWICE
Why together costs less than apart
It is not a discount. It is that four separate pieces of work stop happening twice. Split the jobs and you pay for each of these again when the battery goes in.
One install, not two
A crew on your roof, access equipment, isolation and testing: all of it happens once instead of twice. The second visit is the part you never see itemised, because it lands a year later as a separate job.
One lot of electrical work
Switchboard changes, isolators and cable runs get done once, sized for the finished system. Split the jobs and the switchboard often gets opened up a second time.
One grid application
Connection and metering paperwork is submitted once for the final system, rather than applied for and then varied when the battery arrives.
The right inverter first time
This is the big one. Solar alone is usually quoted with a standard inverter. Add a battery later and it often has to be replaced with a hybrid, or a second unit added, so you pay for the inverter twice.
We have not put a number on it here. What it comes to depends on your roof, your switchboard and the system you end up with, so you will get it as a figure in your quote, in writing, rather than as a headline on a web page.
When we will tell you not to
Bundling is not automatically right, and we are not going to pretend otherwise to move a bigger system. We will say so if:
- Most of your power is used during the day, so a battery would sit idle.
- The budget only stretches to a well-sized solar array, and stretching it would mean compromising the array.
- Your roof or switchboard needs work that should be sorted before anything else goes on.
HOW IT WORKS
Four steps from the first phone call to a system that is running. You will know what is going on the roof, what it costs, and who is doing the work before anything is ordered.
Free assessment
We look at your roof: pitch, orientation, shading and how much usable area there really is, along with your switchboard and your last few bills. Then we tell you what your place can actually take.
Design and quote
A panel layout and inverter sizing built for your roof and your usage pattern, grid-connected or hybrid depending on what suits. Priced in writing, itemised, with no conditions that appear later.
Install and connect
Our own crew does the work. No subcontracting. We keep you posted as it happens, and we tidy up before we leave.
Commission and support
We test and commission the system, set up monitoring so you can see what it is producing, and walk you through it. After that you have our number, not a call centre's.
OUR PAST INSTALLATIONS
Recent work across the region. Real roofs, real systems, photographed as installed.
WHERE WE WORK
Worth Solar Group covers South-East Queensland. Coverage on the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast is deliberately partial: we work the southern and northern ends respectively rather than claiming the whole strip. If you are just outside these areas, call and ask.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Short answers. If yours is not here, call and ask.
We look at your last few power bills, when you actually use power, and what your roof and switchboard can take. The system is sized to that. If a smaller system does the job, we will tell you.
