PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 2 September 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how Worth Solar Group ("we", "us", "our") collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information through this website, and how you can access, correct or complain about the handling of your information. It is written to meet the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
By using this website or submitting a form on it, you agree to the collection and use of information in line with this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly: when you submit a contact or quote enquiry, we collect your name, phone number, email address and the details of your enquiry (for example, your suburb, roof type, or what you are asking about).
Information collected automatically: like most websites, this one uses Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site, including pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location from IP address, and how you arrived here. This is aggregate, technical information; it is not used to identify you personally.
Session recordings: this site also records how visitors move through pages — clicks, scrolling and mouse movement — so we can see where the site is confusing or broken. These recordings mask the text you type into forms, so your name, phone number, email address and enquiry details are not captured in them.
We do not collect sensitive information (health, financial account details, government identifiers) through this site, and we ask that you don't include it in an enquiry.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange or carry out the work you've asked about.
We use aggregate site-usage information to understand which pages and services visitors are interested in, and to improve the site.
We do not use your personal information for any purpose beyond these without telling you first, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
4. Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies set through Google Tag Manager to support basic analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work, though some usage data won't be recorded.
Where a Google tool is involved, Google's own privacy policy governs how Google itself handles that data: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
This site may also use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to understand how visitors arrived here from those platforms. Where the Meta Pixel is active, Meta's own privacy policy governs how Meta handles that data: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
This site uses Microsoft Clarity to record site usage and produce heatmaps of where visitors click and scroll. Clarity sets its own cookies and masks form input, so what you type into an enquiry is not recorded. Microsoft's privacy statement governs how Microsoft handles that data: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
5. Disclosure of your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
We may share it with service providers who help us run the enquiry process or the site itself (for example, a form-handling or email service) strictly so they can provide that service to us, and only to the extent needed for that purpose.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of others.
6. Data storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
We keep personal information only for as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law.
7. Access and correction
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or update it, at any time: see the contact details below. We'll respond within a reasonable time and won't charge you for a straightforward request.
8. Complaints
If you're concerned about how we've handled your personal information, contact us first using the details below and we'll do our best to resolve it directly.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
9. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our services or the law change. The current version is always the one published on this page, dated above.
